Each time we take a step forward, all of our body weight first rests on the heel of one foot. As our weight moves forward, the entire foot begins to bear the body's weight and the foot flattens. Then we push-off with our toes and the ball of the foot, forcing ourselves forward.
Synergy Massaging Insoles are filled with glycerin. Because glycerin is a viscous liquid it has a relatively high resistance to flow. Similar to syrup. This high viscosity allows the foot to be re-balanced by evenly distributing the weight of the body on the insole.
The glycerin cushions the foot then compresses and expands from the heel, arch and the ball of the foot as you walk. The pressure of the body on the heel forces the glycerin to flow toward the toes through flow channels designed to maintain equal body weight distribution on the insole. When you push-off the ball of the foot the glycerin is forced back to the heel of the insole. This process repeats with every step taken.
This perpetual walking motion massages the bottom of the foot, stimulates the blood arteries on the foot and energizes the circulatory system from the toes, ankles, knees, hips and lower back. The improved blood flow reduces swelling and inflammation of these lower extremities.
